At least 39 flights departing from and arriving to Cologne-Bonn Airport (CGN) will be delayed, diverted, or canceled due to maintenance work on the airport’s only operating runway scheduled overnight on November 11-12. Reconstruction work was initially scheduled to take place on October 7-8 but was delayed due to bad weather conditions. Similarly, airport officials have warned that the maintenance may be pushed back in the event of adverse weather.
Residual flight disruptions are possible on November 11 and 12.
