At least 15 people were killed and five people injured in a stampede during the distribution of food aid on Sunday, November 19. The incident reportedly occurred in the village of Sidi Boulaalam in Essaourira province, some 150 km (90 miles) south-west of Casablanca. Authorities have reportedly opened an investigation into the incident.
