China: Heavy fog in Shanghai January 16

As of Tuesday, January 16, Shanghai is wrapped in a thick fog, which prompted the authorities to issue an orange alert (the second-highest level on a four-tier scale) in the morning. Visibility is currently less than 1 km (0.6 mi). Flight disruptions at Shanghai Pudong (PVG) and Hongqiao (SHA) international airports are possible.
