France: Snow alert in Paris region March 19

The French weather service Météo France has issued orange alerts (the second highest on a four-tiered scale) for snow and ice in nine departments, including the Paris region, for Monday, March 19. Approximately 2-3 cm (1 in) of snowfall occurred overnight March 18-19 and continued light snowfall could result in road, rail, and air travel disruptions.
