Moldova: Explosion in Chisinau March 20

Police confirmed that two people were killed and two others wounded after a man detonated a grenade inside of a store in Chisinau on Tuesday, March 20. According to initial reports, the suspected attacker got into a dispute with the shop owner at a store on Mateevici near the intersection with Armeneasca over the price of some items. At some point during the argument, the grenade either exploded in the man’s hand or backpack. Police officers have secured the scene and an investigation is currently ongoing.
