Heavy snow caused road, rail, and air transportation delays in southern Romania on Friday, March 23. Though related weather warnings have expired as of 20:00 (local time), several national roads reportedly remained closed as of Friday evening and dozens of trains had been canceled. Numerous flight delays were also reported at Bucharest's Henri Coandă International Airport (OTP). Further residual transportation disruptions are expected in the coming hours.
