Ukraine: Rocket fired into office building in Kyiv April 13

Event

Police in Kyiv reported that a rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) was fired into an office building in the early hours of Friday, April 13. The RPG was fired into the Kyivmiskbud building in the Pechersk neighborhood at approximately 02:00 (local time); the building was mostly empty at the time of the incident. No casualties were reported as a result of the attack but the office building and the restaurant next door suffered exterior damage. Police are investigating the incident and a motive remains unclear.

Context

The target of the attack remains unclear. Two independent news outlets have offices in the building as well as the sales department of a large property developer.
