Portugal: Lisbon Airport metro station closed June 12-15

Event

The metro station serving Lisbon’s Humberto Delgado International Airport (LIS) was closed to facilitate construction work at the nearby Encarnação station (also closed) beginning on the evening of Tuesday, June 12. The airport station is expected to remain closed until 06:30 (local time) on Friday, June 15. During this period, metro trains on Line D will terminate at Moscavide station and shuttle buses will run between Moscavide and the airport.

Travelers are advised to allow for extra time to reach the airport during this period.
