Heavy rain to hit Panama July 26-28; flooding and landslides possible
Event
The Center of Emergency Operations (COE) has issued an advisory for possible flooding and landslides over the coming few days due to the arrival of a tropical wave weather system expected to bring heavy rain. The advisory will remain in place through Saturday, July 28. On Thursday, the regions of Darién, Chiriquí, Veraguas, Bocas del Toro, and Colón will be the hardest hit, while on Friday and Saturday heavy rain is expected throughout the entire country.
