Singapore: Saturday road closures in July ahead of National Day Parade in Marina Bay
Several roads to be closed in the Marina Bay area on the first three Saturdays of July between 14:00 and 23:00
Event
To facilitate rehearsals for the National Day Parade (taking place on August 9), various roads will be fully or partially closed in the Marina Bay area on the first three Saturdays of July between 14:00 and 23:00 (local time), i.e. on July 7, 14, and 21. The closures will affect the left two lanes of Raffles Avenue, Bayfront Avenue, and the carriageway of Esplanade Drive in the direction of Fullerton Road. Only police and emergency vehicles will be authorized to use these roads during the concerned periods. Parking restrictions will be strictly enforced.
Context
Tower Transit bus services 77, 97, and 106; Go-Ahead Singapore services 36 and 518; SBS Transit services 56, 70M, 111, 133, 162M, 195, and 502; and SMRT services 75, 171, 700A, 857, and 960 will all be affected during these periods.
