Unidentified people set fire to two cars in Gränby garage August 20; approximately 100 cars damaged in subsequent blaze

Police confirmed that two cars were set ablaze shortly before 02:00 (local time) on Monday, August 20, in a parking garage on Atterbomsgatan Road in Gränby (Uppland province). Roughly 100 other vehicles were damaged in a subsequent blaze. On August 18, eight separate arson attacks against cars were reported throughout western Sweden. Police are investigating the incidents.
