Pakistan: Funeral ceremony in Lahore (Punjab) September 14

Kulsoom Nawaz, wife of former Prime minister Nawaz Sharif, died on September 12. She will be buried in the Jati Umra Lahore residence of the Sharif family in Lahore, capital of Punjab state (population 12 million). A ceremony will take place on Friday, September 14, at 17:00 (local time) at the Sharif Medical City in the Jati Umrah area. A large crowd is expected to attend and security measures will be put in place by law enforcement agencies.
