Madagascar: Violent demonstrations in Morondava October 3

Violent demonstrations have been reported in Morondava on Wednesday, October 3. A nightly curfew from 20:00 until dawn has been imposed in the city, in effect until further notice. A heightened security presence (including security forces checking identification documents) and localized traffic disruptions are to be expected in Morondava over the coming days.
