At least four people were killed in an attack in Zaki-Biam, located in the Ukum local government area (Benue state), on Thursday, October 18. According to local sources, the gunmen attacked and burned down a police station, killing one policeman and three civilians. Reports indicate the gunmen also abducted a police officer. Several hundred people fled the area following the attack. Additional clashes are possible in Benue state in the coming days and weeks.
