Police march to be held in Lisbon on October 25; associated transportation disruptions expected

Various police unions will hold a protest in the capital Lisbon on Thursday, October 25, to denounce a lack of investment in police institutions and career opportunities. Participants will gather at 17:00 (local time) at Praça do Comercio before marching to Assembly of the Republic via Arsenal Street, Largo do Corpo Santo, Bernardino Costa Street, Duque da Terceira Square, 24 de Julho Avenue, D. Carlos I Avenue, and Correia Garcao Street.
Transportation disruptions are expected along the march route, including on roads leading to Lisbon International Airport (LIS).
