Italy: Demonstration planned in Rome November 10

Civil society groups have called for a demonstration to be held in Rome on Saturday, November 10. According to organizers, the rally is being held to denounce racism and the government's policy on immigration. Demonstrators are expected to rally at 14:00 (local time) at Piazza della Repubblica before marching towards Piazza di Porta San Giovanni. A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are expected in the vicinity of the demonstration.
