Netherlands/Belgium: Rail service disruptions November 16-19 /update 2
Service disruptions to impact rail services at Schiphol-Amsterdam Airport (AMS) and between Amsterdam and Brussels November 16-19
Event
The Dutch Rail company (NS) is suspending service at Amsterdam-Schiphol International Airport (AMS) from 01:30 (local time) on Friday, November 16, to 05:15 on Monday, November 19. Traffic to, from, and via AMS - including international Thalys services - will not operate due to scheduled track maintenance work. NS will provide replacement bus services during this period.
Planned engineering works will also impact international InterCity trains; services between Brussels and Amsterdam will terminate at Rotterdam Central station November 16-18.
Advice
Travelers are advised to make alternative arrangements and allow for extra time to reach the airport.
