Peru: Tsunami drills scheduled for November 5

The National Institute of Civil Defense (Indeci) has scheduled a nighttime tsunami simulation for Monday, November 5. According to Indeci, the drill will start at 20:00 (local time) and will focus on the emergency response along the ten costal regions. During the exercise, residents along the coast are being asked to conduct a simulated evacuation to designated areas approved by local Indeci authorities.
