Storms have dropped large amounts of rain over Saudi Arabia in the past month, causing localized flooding and power outages. Further flooding, power outages, and transportation and government service disruptions are possible in affected areas over the coming days.

Individuals in affected areas are advised to monitor local weather forecasts, prepare for transportation disruptions, and adhere to any instructions issued by the local authorities. In the event of flooding, keep in mind that driving or walking through running water can be dangerous - 15 cm (6 in) of running water is enough to knock over an adult.
