Germany: Environmental group to stage demonstration in Berlin Jan. 19

The BUND environmental group has called for a demonstration to be held in Berlin on Saturday, January 19. According to local sources, demonstrators are expected to gather starting at 12:00 (local time) in front of the Brandenburg Gate. A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are anticipated in the vicinity of the demonstration.
