Airport officials suspended flight operations at Rome's Ciampino G. B. Pastine International Airport (CIA) on Tuesday morning (local time), February 19, due to fire at one of the airport's terminals. Passengers have also been evacuated from the terminal. According to airport officials, the airport will remain closed until further notice. Significant flight disruptions (delays and cancelations) are to be expected at CIA in the coming hours.
