The Or.SA Ferrovie rail workers union is planning to hold a strike across Italy on Friday, February 8, into the early hours (local time) of Saturday, February 9. The work stoppage is expected from 03:00 on Friday until 02:00 on Saturday. A related strike organized by rail mechanics is also scheduled on Friday from 09:00 to 17:00. Transportation disruptions, including crowded conditions on available trains, delays, and limited services, are expected on Friday with possible residual disruptions on Saturday.
