Qatar: Storms and heavy rain forecast February 10-12

On Sunday, February 10, the Qatar Meteorology Department issued a warning for thunderstorms, heavy rains, and strong winds. The warning is expected to remain in effect through Tuesday, February 12. Winds of 55 km/h (34 mph), with gusts of up to 65 km/h (40 mph) are forecast along the country's coasts, along with storm surges of up to 2.5 m (8 ft). Consequent transportation disruptions are to be expected over the coming days.
