Significant flight disruptions expected March 25 due to strike actions affecting Alitalia and Air Italy; confirm flights

Several unions representing aviation workers have decided to move forward with a nationwide strike on Monday, March 25. According to union leaders, personnel for Alitalia will participate in the strike from 10:00 until 14:00 (local time). A list of canceled Alitalia flights is available here, and further information concerning the strike and assistance for affected passengers is available on the Alitalia website. Participating Air Italy personnel will also strike for 24 hours on March 25, although the company has reportedly guaranteed operations from 07:00 to 10:00 and from 18:00 to 21:00. Air traffic controllers are the only personnel not affected by the strike.
