Malawi: Ongoing protest in Lilongwe March 6

Reports indicate a protest is ongoing in the capital Lilongwe as of mid-day (local time) on Wednesday, March 6. Protesters, including people with albinism, are reportedly marching to the State House to denounce a spate of violence targeting albino people. Police forces deployed in the area are however blocking protesters. Transportation disruptions are likely in the vicinity of the demonstration and clashes between protesters and security forces cannot be ruled out.
