Police lift school lockdown in Christchurch on March 15 after arresting four people suspected of being connected to the mosque shootings; heightened security presence in place

New Zealand Police Commissioner Mike Bush confirmed that at least four people have been arrested in connection to the attacks, which resulted in multiple fatalities; an official casualty count has not been released. According to Bush, multiple improvised explosive devices (IEDs) were also successfully defused on vehicles used in the shootings.
