The Iraqi government has announced that the internet will be cut nationwide from 06:00 to 08:00 (local time) on Saturday, Jun 29, Sunday, July 1, Thursday, July 4, Sunday, July 7, Wednesday, July 10, Saturday, July 13, and Monday, July 15, due to school exams. The decision comes at the request of the education ministry in a bid to prevent cheating while students are taking their exams. Iraqi authorities have repeatedly cut off internet services during examination times to "stop electronic cheating".
