A construction crane collapsed in downtown Dallas (Texas state) on Sunday, June 9, killing one person and injuring six others. Officials believe the crane - which fell on to the Elan City Lights apartment complex and an adjacent garage - collapsed as a result of high winds. Authorities closed portions of Good Latimer Expressway, Gaston Avenue, Live Oak Street, Cantegral Street, and Texas Street in the immediate area as recovery efforts continue. 

Congestion and delays are expected in the coming hours.
