Canada: Ultranationalists to protest in Quebec July 27
Ultranationalist group plan to rally in Trois-Rivières (Quebec) on July 27; heightened security measures and transportation disruptions possible

An extreme right group La Vague Bleue has called for a protest in Trois-Rivières (Quebec province) on Saturday, July 27, to promote laicite and a civil constitution in Quebec. Participants plan to meet at Parc Victoria at 13:30 (local time). The anti-fascist group TRès Inclusif has called for a counterprotest on the same day. Supporters are due to gather at 55 rue de la Fosse from 13:00.
A heightened security presence and transportation disruptions are anticipated at both demonstration sites. Further protests are also possible.
