Czech Republic: Aeroflot and Ural Airlines flights to Prague resume July 3 /update 2
Aeroflot and Ural Airlines flights to Prague (Czech Republic) resume on July 3 following talks between Russia and Czech Republic aviation authorities
Event
All Aeroflot and Ural Airlines flights to Prague (Czech Republic) resumed late on Tuesday, July 2, following talks between the Russian and Czech transport ministries. The Czech aviation authority had suspended permits for direct flights from Moscow, Ekaterinburg, and Zhukovsky (Russia) to Prague earlier on Tuesday after the two countries failed to reach an agreement on Czech Airlines routes through Siberia. Both transport ministries have issued temporary permits until Sunday, July 7, as Russian and Czech officials continue to work to reach an agreement. It is unclear if flight restrictions will be imposed again if a deal is not completed by July 7. Residual flight disruptions on Aeroflot and Ural Airlines flights are possible on Wednesday, July 3.

Potentially impacted travelers are advised to monitor developments to the situation, maintain a flexible itinerary, and to contact Aeroflot or Ural Airlines for additional information.
