MWUN port workers went on strike on Wednesday, July 3, to demand the payment of all salary arrears. According to union leaders, the workers agreed to call of the industrial action to allow for talks between the government and major stakeholders. The union said the strike may be called back on depending on the outcome of the meetings during the week of Monday, July 8.
