Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) continues to suffer flight delays as airport officials work to resolve an ongoing system disruption; confirm flight reservations

Malaysia Airports announced that flight disruptions are ongoing at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) as of 10:50 (local time) on Friday, August 23. According to airport officials, teams are still working to stabilize systems at KUL, which have been experiencing issues since Wednesday, August 21. Passengers are being advised to arrive at least four hours ahead of their flight time and to confirm reservations with their airline. 

Residual flight disruptions are expected to continue through Friday and possibly into Saturday, August 24. Up-to-date information can be found on the Malaysia Airports social media feed.

Travelers flying via KUL are advised to confirm flight reservations prior to leaving for the airport, contact their airline for additional information, and allow additional time to check-in.
