Residual disruptions are possible at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KUL) on Friday, August 23, following a systems outage that began on Wednesday, August 21. The disruption impacted check-in counters, flight information displays, and baggage handling systems. Authorities indicated at 20:00 (local time) on Thursday that its systems would undergo overnight testing and that the technical issue would be resolved by Friday morning. Some 68 flights were delayed through 22:00 on August 22.
