Localized disruptions expected following a fire at Moscow's Rozhdestvensky Convent August 26; avoid the area

A fire reportedly broke out the Rozhdestvensky Convent in Moscow on Monday, August 26.  According to local reports, the blaze, which has been contained, had largely affected the building's roof. No casualties were immediately reported.

Emergency services and firefighters are on the scene. Traffic disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the convent over the coming hours as a cordon remains in place as of 21:00 (local time).
