A series of explosions were reported at an ammunition depot in Reyhanli (Hatay province) near the Syrian border in the early morning (local time) on Friday, August 9. Once a fire broke out, officials cordoned off the area, as well as several surrounding roads. No injuries were reported, though families in the surrounding areas were evacuated. As of publication the cause for the explosion was unknown.
