DRC: Death toll in Tanganyika province train derailment reduced to 15 as of September 13 /update 1

The death toll in a train derailment in the town of Mayibaridi (Tanganyika province) on Thursday, September 12, has been reduced from 50 people to 15 as of Friday, September 13. According to the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, the initial death toll of 50 people was reported erroneously. The cause of the derailment remains unknown as of Friday morning (local time).
