Ecuador: Women’s rights mobilization scheduled in several cities September 28

Women's rights activists have scheduled a mobilization in several cities to mark the Day of Action for Decriminalization of Abortion on Saturday, September 28. Participating cities include Quito, Santa Cruz, and Guayaquil, among others.

Participants in Quito will gather at Plaza del Teatro at 11:30 (local time).

Participants in Santa Cruz are to gather at the Parque San Francisco at 11:30.

Those in Guayaquil will meet at the intersection of Olmedo and Malecon at 11:30.

Associated transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest.
