An ongoing protest has been reported outside the Prime Minister's office in Ramallah on Monday, September 2. Protesters have gathered to denounce violence against women and to demand an investigation on the recent murder of Israa Ghrayeb, a young woman allegedly beaten to death by her brother on Thursday, August 29.

A heightened security presence along with localized traffic disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of the protest.
