Denmark: Pro-Kurdish protest planned in Copenhagen October 18, 19

Groups opposed to Turkey's ongoing military campaign in Syria have called for protests in Copenhagen on Friday, October 18, and on Saturday, October 19. Participants look to call on the immediate end of the campaign in the northern region of Rojava.

On Friday, participants will gather at and around Folkets Hus at 19:00 (local time). On Saturday, participants will gather at Svanemøllen Station as of 13:00. Other associated protests are possible in Copenhagen over the coming several days.

A heightened security presence and associated transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of all protests.
