Germany: Climate activists to protest nationwide November 1

Climate change activists plan protest in several cities on November 1; heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions

Climate change activists are calling for a protest in at least 18 cities across Germany on Friday, November 1.

In Berlin, participants will gather at the Invalidenpark as of 12:00 (local time). In Cologne, the protest will begin at 10:00 at the Alter Markt. In Munich, protesters will gather at 12:00 at the Königsplatz. In Stuttgart, the protest will take place at Town Hall at 11:00.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions are likely around all climate protests.
