Germany: Protest planned in Kalkar October 5

Students of the "Fridays for Future" movement have scheduled a protest for Saturday, October 5, to coincide with political party Alternative for Germany's (AfD) party convention in Kalkar (North Rhine-Westphalia). Other associations advocating causes such as anti-racism, welfare rights, and trade unions will participate to oppose the party's climate policy and other policy differences.

Participants are scheduled to gather at 08:30 (local time) in front of the Wunderland Kalkar amusement park, where the party's convention will take place.
