Lebanon: Ongoing fire near Beirut Airport (BEY) October 17

Event

An ongoing fire has been reported near the Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) as of Thursday, October 17. Reports indicate that the source of the fire is plastic boxes. Civil Defense workers are at the scene.

Although authorities claimed the traffic was not immediately impacted, associated transportation disruptions remain possible in the area over the coming hours.
