Lebanon: Road maintenance works scheduled near Beirut-Rafic Hariri International Airport (BEY) October 15-24

Security officials have announced that maintenance works are due to take place in the tunnel leading to Beirut-Rafic Hariri Airport (BEY) from Tuesday, October 15, through Friday, October 18, and from Tuesday, October 22, through Thursday, October 24. Between October 15-18, road authorities will close the western route from Beirut to Khaldah between 20:00 to 04:00 (local time). On October 22-24, the eastern route from Khaldah to Beirut will be closed between 20:00 to 04:00.

Transport disruptions, including increased traffic and longer travel times, are expected during the maintenance works.
