Road closure reported in vicinity of Muscat International Airport (MCT) on January 13; use alternate routes

On Monday, January 13, airport authorities have announced the closure of Sultan Qaboos Street in Muscat near Muscat International Airport (MCT). The closure is in effect until 17:00 (local time). Authorities advised to use alternative routes to the airport, namely the Muscat Expressway and ‪November 18 Street.

Transportation disruptions are to be expected in the vicinity of MCT.

Individuals in Muscat and those traveling via MCT are advised to seek alternate routes and adhere to instructions issued by local authorities.
