The Qatar Met has forecast heavy rain and strong winds for Qatar on Thursday, January 9, and Friday, January 10. The forecast reads that the storm may bring varying intensity, which may turn into thunderstorms in some areas. A spell of cold weather is also forecast. The Met advised to avoid maritime activities as a result.
