South Korea: Seoul public transportation to operate extended hours Jan. 24-26
Public transportation services in Seoul will operate extended hours from January 24-26 to accommodate an increase in travelers during the Lunar New Year holiday

Public bus and subway service will operate on extended hours during the Lunar New Year holiday to accommodate an expected influx of travelers. From Friday, January 24, through Sunday, January 26, subway lines No. 1 through 9 and the Ui-Sinseol Light Rail Transit will run until 02:00 (local time). Buses along 129 routes that run through major train stations and bus terminals will also operation until 02:00. City officials announced that additional buses will be deployed along routes that pass cemeteries to ensure service for passengers visiting their ancestors.
