Morocco: Demonstration planned in Rabat February 9

According to US diplomatic sources, a demonstration is set to take place in Rabat on Sunday, February 9, to denounce US President Donald Trump's Middle East peace plan. Demonstrators will gather at Bab al Ahad at 10:00 (local time) on Sunday and march to the parliament building.

A heightened security presence and localized transportation disruptions (e.g., road closures, traffic congestion) are to be expected along the demonstration route. Similar demonstrations are possible in urban centers across Morocco over the near term.
