Liberia: Fuel shortages reported in Montserrado County March 18

According to local media, as of Wednesday, March 18, a fuel shortage, ongoing since Sunday, March 15, is affecting Liberia's Montserrado Country, where the capital Monrovia is located. The shortage has reportedly resulted in long lines at gas stations and will possibly result in increased fares on public transport services. The Petroleum Importers Association of Liberia has reportedly denied the existence of a fuel shortage.

 Associated protests cannot be ruled out.
