Lebanon: Anti-government protests planned in Beirut for June 25, 26, and 27
Anti-government protests to be held in Beirut on June 25, 26, and 27 to demand new economic rescue plan; avoid all gatherings as a precaution

Several anti-government protests have been scheduled to take place in Beirut on Thursday, June 25, Friday, June 26, and Saturday, June 27, to call for a new economic rescue plan as well as increased governmental transparency. On Thursday, the demonstration will take place at 10:00 (local time) in front of the Presidential Palace in the Baabda area of the capital. On Friday, the demonstration will take place from 17:00 near the Grand Serail (Government Palace), while on Saturday the protest is planned for 17:00 near the parliament building. Related protests in other urban centers are also possible in the near term.
Clashes between protesters and security forces, as well as localized transport disruption, are possible at protest sites.
