Turkey: Lawyers demonstrate in Istanbul June 30

Thousands of lawyers gathered outside the Çağlayan Courthouse in Istanbul on Tuesday, June 30, to protest against a government plan to reform the bar associations in the country. The demonstration was reportedly peaceful, but heightened security measures and localized traffic disruptions were reported in the vicinity of the protest.
